With property prices at their most attractive for years, interest rates at historic lows and a host of incentives available to help homebuyers get on and climb the property ladder, now could be the right time to move, according to national housebuilder Taylor Wimpey.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors reports signs of increasing activity in the market, with buyer enquiries rising for the third consecutive month in January.
This positive trend, coupled with a host of great money-saving schemes to help move into a new home, means savvy buyers are beginning to return to the market.
Mark Pajak, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, said: “The current low interest rates and great deals available on a wide choice of new homes is a winning combination that is helping homebuyers to get moving in 2009 after a challenging time in the property market.”
He added: “We believe that with the right advice and support, now is a great time to buy and our latest range of special incentives is aimed at giving all types of homebuyers that extra helping hand.”
