CLLR Brenda Simpson, the Mayor of Swale, has opened an exclusive showhome at The Meadows in Sittingbourne.

Cllr Simpson cut the ribbon at the opening of the four-bedroom detached Windsor showhouse at the David Wilson Homes site in front of an audience of eager visitors.

Bernadette Evans, regional sales manager, said: "The opening was a huge success. The number of visitors to the development was very high, with everyone commenting on the imaginative design and layout of the showhome. As a result, we secured a number of sales on the day and are currently dealing with a large number of enquiries."
