AFTER receiving a commendation at the Mail on Sunday British Homes Awards, Stedlyn Retreat has done it again.
The newly-created development by Millwood Designer Homes is to receive an award for Best New Development at the Daily Mail UK Property Awards, which are being held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday, October 5.
Entries were judged by a panel of professionals, including Phil Spencer, property expert and presenter of Channel 4’s Location and Relocation TV shows; Imtiaz Farookhi, chief executive of the National House Building Council and Peter Bolton King, Chief Executive of the National Association of Estate Agents.
On entering the development purchasers are greeted by a collection of three, four, five, six and seven-bedroom homes in a variety of styles.
The architecture includes quaint cottages to larger detached homes, which utilise black and white ship-lap weatherboarding and feature red brickwork, as well as beautiful Tudor styling with exposed timbers.
It was not only a favourite with the judges but the public too, and there is now only one left unsold.
Roseanne Bullen, sales director designate for Millwood Designer Homes said: "With just one home available, I would advise customers not to pass up their last chance to buy into this phenomenally successful development."
The remaining property is an end-terrace mews three-bedroom cottage with garage, which forms part of the Maple cottages. Incentives include Stamp Duty paid, £500 towards legal fees, fitted carpets and a landscaped garden.
The home has been designed to blend with the countryside and has period-style elevations, including sash windows, a red slate roof and traditional weatherboarding.
The individually designed kitchen by James Theobald features a wealth of integrated appliances by Smeg, including a double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.
The living room is spacious, with plenty of room for a dining area and has double-glazed doors onto the landscaped garden.
The master bedroom features a luxurious en suite bathroom, while a separate family bathroom serves the two remaining bedrooms.
Stedlyn Retreat offers a tranquil village lifestyle, while still having easy access to the larger towns of Sittingbourne and Maidstone, as well as the A2 and M2 making it ideal for commuters and families alike.
The remaining home is priced at £295,000. For further information call 01732 770991.
