IT IS always difficult to uproot and move counties and often even harder to buy a property in your new chosen location "off plan" (before it's been completed)
However, so impressed was Olive Wollam with the development she discovered, she took a leap of faith and reserved an apartment at Linen Court, Canterbury.
She has now became the first purchaser to exchange contracts. Wendy Wilson, sales and marketing director for locally based Cobden Homes, a George Wilson Group company, said: "Mrs Wollam is moving to Canterbury from Wolverhampton to be closer to her family and wanted an apartment which offered a fantastic central location together with top level specification. We are delighted she recognised the quality of our development and are confident she will be thrilled with the end result."
A number of other buyers have also recognised what Linen Court has to offer and have reserved "off plan".
Karen Sharp, head of new homes for Strutt & Parker said: "We are very pleased to be associated with a development such as this and very much look forward to the next Cobden Homes project. Working with a local developer who is committed to quality and customer satisfaction is a real pleasure."
Linen Court is a development of just 11 apartments, located in Castle Street and overlooks lovely gardens. Prices range from £99,950 for a lower ground floor apartment to £250,000 for the penthouse.
