THE show complex at Woodlands Court in Walderslade, Chatham, gives a good indication of what purchasers can expect from a retirement flat.
According to developers McCarthy & Stone, the newly-furnished show flats display many of the ideas for retirement living that the company has developed over 20 years.
Power sockets at a convenient height, easy-to-operate light switches and kitchen taps and call points in each flat monitored day and night are just some of the things at Woodland Court that make life easy.
Every flat is protected by an intruder and smoke alarm on the inside and a TV surveillance system at the main entrance.
The show complex is open from 10.30am to 5pm.
