WHEN a quarter the first 33 new homes released for sale at Leybourne Park in Aylesford were bought 'off-plan', the sales team at Barratt knew it had a successful development.
It is perhaps not surprising given the fine setting and broad range of new homes.
Around a mile from Aylesford and within easy reach of the shops, bars, restaurants on offer in Maidstone, Leybourne Park offers a mix of town and country.
There's also a leisure centre with swimming pool and a 24-hour supermarket within a 10-minute drive.
Louise Town, who bought an apartment at the development, said: "I was attracted by the location of Leybourne Park. I love the area and my family and friends live locally.
"I drive to work in Tunbridge Wells and the local road connections are good; it’s an easy drive to junction 3 of the M2 and to junction 4 and 5 of the M20."
The one, two, three and four-bedroom homes at Leybourne Park are inspired by traditional Kentish village architecture.
Dr Yaser Kordasti, a first-time buyer, was surprised by the development's value for money.
He said: "I was looking for a nice, quiet place to move to with my partner, Sara. I was able to buy a spacious two-bedroom apartment at Leybourne Park for the price of a one-bedroom flat in London."
