Training to give home-buyers better service

RPC Land & New Homes is launching a staff training programme to build upon the service it already offers to developers throughout the South East.

The majority of the firm’s staff will complete a series of training and coaching modules starting this spring, covering communications skills, negotiating and sales techniques.

RPC Land & New Homes has centres in Tonbridge, Dartford, Maidstone and Haywards Heath.

Peter Randall, managing director, said: “We consider that training our personnel in aspects of good communication, negotiating and selling is paramount if we are to succeed where others fail, particularly in hardening market conditions.

“We understand what is required of ourselves and, more importantly, what is expected by our prospective home-buying customers and our current and future new home developer clients.”

RPC has appointed TTOP Training and Marketing to design a tactical development training programme for 2003, specifically to meet the challenges of the new homes market.
