How swanky does a house have to be for it to be considered a posh pad? Surely a croquet lawn, two swimming pools and a wine cellar would do the trick?
This £3.2 million house in Fordcombe is the epitome of luxury living with its own sauna, indoor and outdoor pools and home cinema system.
The five-bedroom property, located just outside of Tunbridge Wells and opposite the banks of the River Medway, is spread over four floors, including the below-ground wine cellar.
The estate also includes two separate outbuildings, one of which is a newly renovated summer house overlooking the croquet lawn.
The other outbuilding is the restored bothy - a remote outdoor shelter often used by gardeners or groundskeepers.
In this case, the bothy used to be a turbine shed dating back to when this house was a working paper mill in the 18th and early 19th centuries.
Today, the building has been turned into a stylish sauna with an indoor and outdoor pool. However, the glass flooring gives residents a chance to see the workings of the original mill below.
The house, which was purchased by the current owners 20 years ago and has been thoroughly restored over the past two decades, has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The lounge also has a home cinema with an accompanying sound system that has been installed throughout the house and a bespoke kitchen with a slate and elm finish.
The property comprises almost eight acres of land situated within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has stunning views of the river and surrounding countryside.
