Make a date for the launch of two new show homes at Royal Parade, Taylor Wimpey's growing community in Canterbury.
The three-bedroom Byford and the four-bedroom Huxford show homes open for the first time on Saturday, April 13, giving house hunters a chance to find out more about life at the development.
Just off Littlebourne Road, Royal Parade is on the grounds of the former Howe Barracks, which were named after Lieutenant Colonel Gerard Howe of the Royal East Kent Regiment and closed in 2015.
There will be up to 500 new homes, including two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses, with new play areas and sports pitches, a community orchard and 11 acres of parkland.
The energy-efficient plots have bright, open rooms, decorated in neutral shades and have the latest fixtures and fittings.
Jason Stokes of Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are proud to be creating a brand new community at Royal Parade and with a range of brand new facilities, it will be a fantastic place to call home.
"We are delighted to announce the launch of our new show homes on Saturday, April 13 and look forward to welcoming visitors so they can see for themselves all that this exciting development has to offer.
"In addition, as part of the planning agreement for Royal Parade, Taylor Wimpey will be contributing over £2.8 million to Canterbury City Council to help towards improving existing local facilities and infrastructure."
The development is off Littlebourne Road, Canterbury and is open daily between 10am and 5pm.
There’s currently a range of three-bedroom homes available to reserve, priced from £315,000, and a further choice of homes will soon be released. As well as the two show homes, buyers can also walk around a two-bedroom Beauford property.
