Integrated appliances, carpets and a landscaped garden are all part of the package at a five-bedroom home just launched on St Mary’s Island, Chatham.

Also available is the four-bedroom Sanderling, priced at £500,000. This three-storey house, also has a double garage and has a master bedroom with vaulted ceiling.
The three-bedroom Lark, with single garage is £452,500 and a two-bedroom apartment, with terrace off the dining area, is £275,000.
All homes have a ten-year NHBC warranty and some homes have views of the River Medway and Upnor Castle.
Emma Fearn, of developer Countryside, says: “This final phase of homes gives home-hunters the chance to buy a home in a truly fantastic location.
“With the great success of past phases at St Mary’s Island, we are expecting interest to be high and would urge potential purchasers to register their interest as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”
There are bars, restaurants and other amenities in the retail and leisure facility Jetty 5. Just across the bridge from the island, there is also Dockside Outlet Shopping Centre, home to over 70 retail outlets.
St Mary’s Island is under four miles from Rochester train station, where high-speed services offer journey times of just 38 minutes into London St Pancras.
