Bidders looking for a project will be taking a good look at a three-bedroom house in Chatham, which is about to go under the hammer at auction.
The semi-detached house, in Boundary Road, is in need of improvement and repair and is being offered with a guide price of £150,000 to £155,000.
It is among 75 lots being sold by Clive Emson at the Kent County Showground, near Maidstone, at 11am on Friday, November 7.
Auctioneer John Stockey said: “This property is conveniently located for the commuter mainline railway station and the town centre. It would make a lovely family home and I anticipate interest from owner-occupiers looking for a project, as well as builders and developers.”
Also up for auction is a large three-storey house in Chatham, which might offer potential to be converted into three flats. The property at Luton Road has parking at the back.
The freehold guide price is £120,000 to £125,000. John Stockey said: “Subject to all the correct consents being obtained this could be turned into flats.”
