THERE will be hundreds of job opportunities on offer at the KM Kent Careers Expo 2002.
Now in its second year, the two-day event on Thursday and Friday, October 3 and 4, gives companies the chance to find local jobs for local people in a wide range of industries.
The event is taking place at The Ramada Hotel and Resort, formerly the Great Danes Hotel and Country Club, Hollingboune, near Maidstone.
More than 30 of Kent's major employers are taking part among them Kent Ambulance, the Kent Autistic Trust, Del Monte, Railtrack, Sainsbury and Talmark Financial.
The New Appointments Group also have a stand at the event. Managing director Gerry Cassell said: "We've got a current list of vacancies in excess of 80 in various parts of the county, ranging from clerical to management positions. The Careers Expo gives us unique access to people."
Kent Messenger classified manager Sue Huntley said: "This year's Expo comprises a broad spectrum of opportunities. I'm confident that Expo has something to appeal to all job seekers."
Tips on CV writing and interview techniques will also be offered at the event open from 9.30am to 7pm on the Thursday to allow those already in employment to attend. Friday opening times are 9.30am to 5pm. For more information call Sue Huntley on 01622 794666.
