HEALTH workers are being invited to a jobs fair at Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham on Thursday, October 4. Job Shop 2001 is open to anyone who wants to find out more about careers in health care.

It is one of hundreds taking place in hospitals across the country, open to health workers whatever their qualifications, but particularly ex-nurses, and midwives.

The job shop is being held at the John Spence Gallery. Information will be available on working conditions in the NHS, including family-friendly working hours, pensions and other benefits, such as bursaries and financial support available during training and re-training.
