MORE than 50 jobs will be created when designer outlet TK Maxx opens in the Stour Retail Park in Sturry Road, Canterbury on June 5.

The store is opening in Unit 1 of the retail park and is one of 20 new stores the American company plans to open in the UK this year.

It will offer 23,500 sq ft of famous labels clothes, homeware and gifts for up to 60 per cent less than the recommended price.

TK Maxx holds over 50,000 items with 10,000 new arrivals each week, there are currently 123 TK Maxx stores across the UK and Ireland.
