Seventy new jobs are in store at Asda's Chatham branch after a £5 million redevelopment.
The jobs have mostly been created in the store's new George fashion department, with several other posts at new counters.
The new-look store opens on Monday, October 6.
The final stage of the redevelopment, which includes the George section on the new upper floor, is set to finish the weekend before.
Store manager David Jones has invited Joanne Cable of Chatham World Heritage to join staff for the store's re-launch.
Ms Cable will be there to thank the store for Asda's £1,500 to help Chatham World Heritage bid.
Mr Jones said: "We are all excited about the completion of our fantastic £5 million make-over and I want to welcome our loyal customers to the store to join us in celebrating the highlight of our store year.
"Our customers have been very loyal and patient during the works disruption and I'm sure they'll be delighted with our new look."
The Chatham Asda now also has an increased selection of homeware, electrical goods, toys and books.
There is also an in-store pharmacy, where customers will be able to pick up prescriptions and get free health checks.
