MORE than 100 job vacancies at a fast food restaurant which is being built near the Medway Tunnel are now being filled.

The site of the new branch of McDonald's at the Strood-bound exit of the tunnel is in St Anthony's Way. The planned opening date is August 20.

Positions now being filled include crew members to serve on tills, work in the drive-thru and cook in the kitchen, and people to work as dining area hosts, customer care staff, delivery people and maintenance men.
