NEW jobs are to be created at Asda branches in parts of Kent, including Gravesend and Swanley. The boost is part of a 2,000-strong national recruitment drive in the retail giant's George clothing division.

Between six and eight new employees will be created at each of the 228 Asda stores that sell the clothes.

The positions will be split equally between full-time and temporary roles.
