Motorists are warned that the coast-bound carriageway of the A2 will be closed overnight at Harbledown from Monday for 10 days for the renewal of road markings.
The carriageway will be shut from 8pm to 6am between the junctions with the A2050 at Harbledown and New Dover Road.
Exit and entry slip roads in that stretch will also be shut.
The work is part of the renewal of white lines and cats’ eyes along a 12 mile stretch of the A2 from Harbledown to Coxhill at Lydden.
From August 18-21 the London-bound carriageway will be affected from the junction with Coxhill to the New Dover Road.
Slip roads will again be closed and there will be temporary traffic lights on the A2 between Lydden and Coldred. Diversions will be signposted.
