Council chiefs have approved two more major schemes to regenerate the Medway Towns.
A revised masterplan for Chatham Waterfront will see part of the historic Paddock chopped down for a circular bus station, while the Sir John Hawkins flyover will be knocked down at the end of the year despite thousands of objections.
The Brook will be widened.
In a separate report the Cabinet approved a masterplan for Corporation Road, Rochester. This will link the major regeneration area at Rochester Riverside with the historic city centre.
