Truckers set out from a Medway service station this week in protest at the rocketing price of diesel.
But they're not the only motorists being hit in the pocket as fuel prices continue to soar.
This picture was taken on Monday at a BP petrol forecourt on the outskirts of Rainham. It clearly shows how expensive driving has become.
Petrol costs have passed the £5 a gallon landmark and £5.62 for diesel at the Farthing Corner services on the M2.
In the print edition of the Medway Messenger on Friday we will be publish a special report on the issue, but want to hear your views.
How have you been affected by the increased cost? Have you been forced to switch jobs? What other sacrifices have you had to make? Is public transport now a viable alternative?
How much have you paid for petrol or diesel in recent weeks? Do you know anywhere more expensive than the one shown here?
