OPERATION Stack has been lifted on the M20 and traffic management at junction 11 has ended.

Kent Police says the London-bound carriageway of the motorway is now running normally.

Earlier, Operation Stack was partially lifted and motorists were being urged to use the M2/A2 route to Dover docks.

It was put into force yesterday afternoon after a combination of poor weather in the Channel and a serious collision on the M20 led to congestion.
