These are some of the things found by the National Salvage Group, a representative trade body for operators in the salvage industry.
In addition to commonly found items such as underwear, sex toys and clothing, more unusual objects have included a wedding dress, a stuffed fox's head and a plastic leg. Perhaps the most amazing was an urn containing ashes, discovered by a car breakers in Exeter, which was never claimed by the owner.
