Volkswagen’s Amarok has, according to its maker, always appealed to customers who appreciate the finer things in life.
In a bid to celebrate the very best the brand has to offer, buyers can now order the most luxurious version to date - the Amarok Ultimate.
Limited to 500 vehicles, the Amarok Ultimate features a host of premium features that Volkswagen believes makes it special and appealing package.
The exterior design is distinguished by bi-xenon headlights, 19–inch polished alloy wheels and double chrome strips on the radiator grille. Furthermore, available for the first time on an Amarok are LED daytime running lights.
Standard equipment includes electrically foldable, heated and adjustable door mirrors, darkened tail light lenses and a new LED number plate light.
Inside, the Amarok Ultimate boasts standard-fit Alcantara-trimmed seats, leather multifunction steering wheel, heated driver and front passenger seats and satellite navigation. A reversing parking camera is also part of the standard specification list along with rear privacy glass and Bluetooth connectivity.
The limited edition model comes with Volkswagen’s top of the range 2.0-litre BiTDI 180 horsepower diesel engine, offering a maximum towing capacity of up to 3,200kg.
Prices start from £29,555 (ex VAT) and customers can choose between a six-speed manual powertrain with selectable all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto option with permanent all-wheel drive.
