Detectives are appealing for help to identify four men seen leaving a block of flats shortly after a 31-year-old man fell from a balcony, suffering life-threatening injuries.

The victim, who has not been named, remains in a critical condition almost six weeks after falling from the second floor of the property in Bath Street, Coventry.

CCTV footage released by West Midlands Police on Friday shows a group of hooded men leaving the flats after the incident at around 7pm on Monday August 17.

Officers believe the group could hold vital information about what happened.

Two men, aged 25 and 33, were arrested from the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, and have both been released without charge.

Anyone who recognises those pictured in the CCTV footage is urged to call West Midlands Police on 101, or alternatively to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
