Hundreds of mourners have lined the streets to pay their respects to comedy great Eddie Large.

Members of the public carefully followed social distancing guidelines to applaud as the hearse carrying the comedian’s coffin drove down Portishead High Street to South Bristol Crematorium.

A large spray of flowers – in white and blue in a nod to his love of Manchester City FC – adorned his coffin.

They were among just 10 family and close friends allowed to attend the service due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
