Peppa Pig is marking her 20th birthday with her own set of Royal Mail stamps.
The much-loved children’s television character first leapt onto our screens on May 31, 2004.
And to celebrate two decades of animated episodes, postal bosses have revealed 12 new Peppa Pig stamps that will go on sale later this month.
Featuring characters such as Peppa’s brother George, Mummy, Daddy and Grandpa Pig alongside her friends Suzy Sheep and Danny Dog - the collection has been unveiled this week ahead of her official birthday at the end of the month.
In addition to the stamp collections - a new video has also been created to mark the release featuring Peppa, Daddy Pig, Mr Zebra and one of Royal Mail’s own posties as they deliver special invitations to Peppa’s party.
Young viewers can watch the video online by clicking here.
David Gold from Royal Mail said: “Peppa Pig, her friends and family have brought joy and laughter to global audiences of all ages for two decades. These delightful stamps will brighten up the day of anyone receiving mail with a touch of Peppa’s charm.”
The stamps, and a range of collectible products, are available to pre-order from May 2 via the Royal Mail website or by calling 03457 641 641.
The Presentation Pack containing all 12 stamps in the collection costs £21.00.
The stamps will go on general sale from May 16.
