Free attraction tickets are available to National Lottery players next month to say thank you for the money those who play raise for good causes.
National Lottery Open Week takes place between Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 17.
It encourages heritage sites, tourist attractions, galleries and other places of interest, which have benefited from National Lottery cash, to give something back to the players who make it possible.
National Lottery players raise £30 million for good causes every week – with more than £1billion of that funding since 2020 having focused on getting popular places to visit back on their feet following the pandemic.
Lottery-funded organisations and attractions are offering free entry, 2-for-1 ticket promotions and other deals to visitors who can show a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard.
In most instances this can be either a paper or digital copy of a lottery game – those wishing to enjoy one of the deals on offer simply need to prove they have been or are a National Lottery player.
And with hundreds of venues to choose from across the UK – those behind the scheme say there are plenty of free and low-cost days out to enjoy wherever you live.
From the chance to delve into the past at historic castles and museums to the opportunity to relive iconic moments at famous sporting venues – there is also the promise of a promotion to tempt everyone regardless of their hobbies or interests.
National Lottery Open Week also allows ticket holders to visit one of hundreds of National Trust properties for free as well.
While in the capital – the Tower of London, HMS Belfast and Wembley Stadium are among the big-name attractions also taking part.
