It can be expensive to keep the kids fed and watered through the summer holidays.
So if you’re looking to treat them to a meal out during the school break, here’s a complete list of the restaurants and cafes with kids eat free or £1 deals.
ASDA
Asda has extended its exceptionally popular £1 kids deal until the end of the year. No minimum spend is required for children to get access to the promotion – and they’ll have both hot and cold options to choose from subject to availability.
BELLA ITALIA
Children will be able to eat for £1 between 4pm and 6pm with every adult main meal bought between Mondays and Thursdays at Bella Italia restaurants. The meals are suitable for children aged two to 11.
BEEFEATER and BREWERS FAYRE
Start the day well with a tasty breakfast or brunch at Beefeater – where two children under 16 can get a free breakfast with one paying adult.
An unlimited breakfast for an adult, including hot and cold drinks, costs £9.99. The deal is available every morning but restaurant bookings may be required during busy periods.
BILL’S
The Kid’s Eat Free promotion is back this summer at Bill’s restaurants across the country. Up to two children can eat for free between Monday, July 24 and Friday, September 1 – excluding Saturdays and Sundays - if one adult orders any main dish from either the breakfast, lunch or dinner menus.
DOBBIES
Enjoy a free children’s breakfast with any adult traditional or full breakfast or a free child’s hot meal or pick n mix lunch box with any adult main course at Dobbies restaurants. This summer offer is available everyday in garden centre branches and the children's meal will also come with a free child’s drink.
HUNGRY HORSE
There are Happy Mondays at Hungry Horse restaurants this summer where children can eat for £1. The Monday-only promotion is serving up everything from sausages and fish to pizza and chicken. There are also larger meals for just £1.50 to suit children with bigger appetites. It is worth noting up to two children can eat for £1 with every full paying adult.
IKEA
Children visiting IKEA can grab a meal from as little as 95p between now and September 3. And for just £1.50 you can increase this to a ‘combination meal’ that will include a side, drink and piece of fruit.
M&S
M&S Café has announced the return of its Kids Eat Free offer for the summer holidays - running this year between July 24 and September 1. Young customers can enjoy a £4 Kids Munch Menu on M&S when you £5 or more in the café.
The Munch Menu includes items like a jacket potato with beans or cheesy tomato pasta and also comes with a snack and drink option.
MORRISONS
Children can eat for free all day every day, says Morrisons, when they’re accompanied by an adult buying a meal that costs more than £4.49. Bangers and mash, chicken nuggets and mac’n’cheese are all among the options on the children’s menu.
SAINSBURY’S
Children can eat for £1 alongside any adult buying a main meal. The deal is available every day from 11.30am until the cafes close and youngsters can choose between a hot dinner and a cold lunch bag for £1.
TESCO
Parents need to spend just 60p to claim one free children’s meal worth up to £3.50 at Tesco. The free options can include the kids breakfast, the hot meal deal or the cold pick and mix deal.
In England and Wales the deal will be available from July 24 until September 1 and customers will need to show their Tesco Clubcard when they’re at the till.
