Nicknamed Mr Taffy, this pooches character and charm won over our readers.
Taffy is a five-year-old Welsh Collie who loves balls and sticks!
His owner, Katie Docker said: "It has been great fun watching all the animals in the August competition and I am now the very proud owner of my winning, Welsh Collie Taffy.
"It was an extremely tense race between Taffy and Louie Bob and my best wishes go to Louie Bob's family as he is also a beautiful, characterful, dog worth winning.
"We have owned Taffy since he was 10 weeks old and day by day our love grows for him as he does something everyday to make us smile.
"He is now five and has a happy day nearly every day.
"I brought him to work as a pup, but now he is older he goes for a morning walk with mummy, has a couple of hours on his tod with the cats and then he gets picked up and looked after all day by a super star who also loves him to bits.
"I never thought a dog could be so human, he smiles, he gives us kisses, he wiggles his bottom endlessly when we get home, but the sweetest thing he does is thank us everyday for loving him.
"Except when he has a bath, which he hates!
"Of course, he is not 100% perfect, he has a huge Collie bark, and barks at running children in the pub, just to say stop running about!
"Most people love him, and his temperament is nothing like I have seen in any dog I have every owned before.
"Thank you for all of you who voted."
He was chosen by his owners after they met his dad asleep on a pub floor and kept in touch when he was sired for puppies.
Due to their meeting, Taffy's human parents had the first pick of the litter.
Now he is five, and a father himself, Taffy's owners say he has the best life ever.
His favourite game is going round and round with a stick in his mouth and he loves chasing after a ball on a beach.
Taffy is also a keen footballer! He loves a football pitch where he always puts the ball in the net for the next kick.
His owners say he truly is a well tempered, gorgeous dog, who gets lots of attention every day from people in their village.
For those new to the game, every month we will be choosing eight animals across Kent for readers to explore the lives of and vote on who will be Kent's Pet of the Month.
Every week readers will vote on pairs of animals to go to the next round until only one remains.
