The pandemic has led to a surge in new pet owners - and while choosing the right sort of animal and breed is vital, so is deciding on a name.
We've been finding out the most popular names chosen by new puppy and kitten owners across the UK.
Research by More Than found that, aside from the most popular, there are some pretty imaginative dog names out there such as Wookie, Sherlock Bones, Albus Dumblepaw and Snoop Dog.
Since the Prime Minister was elected in 2019, the number of puppies named Bojo and Boris grew by 197%. But the three highest climbing names were Winnie, Mabel and Otis.

Much like the puppies, the number of cats named after the PM has shot up by 131% since 2019. But Bonnie, Kiki and Pepper remain the coolest cat names and highest risers of 2020.
Though many names were inspired by popular media, including Aslan and Samwise, there are a strange number of kittens named after food.
More Than has recorded cats named Toast, Avocado, Tofu, Plum, Chutney and Cabbage.
