More on KentOnline
It was a brutal battle to secure last week's winners, but here we are with the top dogs (and they all are actually dogs).
In this second round, two animals will be voted on by readers to go to next week's final, with the tantalising possibility of becoming July's Pet of The Month.
Scroll down to vote
For those fresh to the competition, every month we choose eight animals across Kent for readers to explore the lives of and vote on who will be Kent's Pet of the Month.
Each week readers will vote on pairs of animals to go to the next round until only one remains.
If you're interested in entering next month's round for August, email details about your pet (such as pictures, name, breed, age and fun stories) to mcarr@thekmgroup.co.uk
Head-to-Head #1
Beanz the Hungarian Vizsla
Beanz is a one-year-old Hungarian Vizsla, who won over Millie in last week's heat - we hear she hasn't stopped howling since finding out.
The energetic pup lives by the sea and loves playing on the beach.
She was recently her humans bridesmaid/best man at their run away wedding to Gretna Green!
Beanz then spent two weeks touring Scotland with them in a camper van where she enjoyed lots of long walks, including summiting Ben Nevis where she was briefly the highest dog in the whole of the UK!
She loves to get cosy under a blanket and nap after a nice walk.
Beanz also has to stop to say hello to every dog or human she passes by.
Beanz is described as the friendliest and most affectionate dog you could ever wish to meet!
Keesha the Doberman
Keesha is a three-year-old Doberman whose favourite things in the whole world are tennis balls and food!
She beat the scrappy and loveable Rex in the last round, and now hopes to go all the way.
Due to her huge size many people think she's scary but Keesha is called a big wuss by her family.
Her best friend is Cookie, a tiny Yorke who is the boss between the two dogs. Keesha lets Cookie get away with stealing all her bones!
Keesha is also very close to her human sister Kelsie who she has grown up with and loves going on long walks and chilling at home on the sofa.
Head-to-Head #2
Ollie the Golden Retriever
Ollie is a nine-year-old rescue Golden Retriever, who got a whopping 230 votes versus Sir Quilliam the hedgehog's 136. He's still being spiky about it.
Ollie was the runt of a pedigree litter and had a problem with his head and very spindly back legs.
Ollie with his friend Lomond
He is described as a softy that needs constant attention!
His family love him very much and can't imagine life without him.
Brackles, Boro and Ziggy
This trio of doggy friends beat their competition - Prentiss the cat - by a fairly hefty margian last week, getting 63% of the votes (we've sent the moggy some catnip in the post as consolation prize).
Brackles and Boro are Spaniels and their brother Ziggy, is a Labrador Poodle.
Brackles is eight-years-old and his dad says he's the best looking dog in the village.
He is described as majestic at home but a true Spaniel outside.
Boro is named after the one and only David Attenborough.
He loves to rummage through the plants in the garden and all the undergrowth outside.
Ziggy is eight-months-old and loves to spend his time causing chaos and fun.
His owners say he is a want to be Spaniel but really he's a a party Poodle Labrador.
