Dymchurch car park taped off after reported stabbing

Emergency serviced descended on a car park following a reported stabbing.

A heavy police presence is in Dymchurch on Romney Marsh this morning.

Forensics officers are at the scene in the car park next to Orgarswick Avenue, which was initially taped off and closed to drivers.

The situation is ongoing but there are unconfirmed reports from people in the area that at least one person has been stabbed.

Officers have also been seen attending a house opposite the car park.

What appears to be blood stains can be seen on a door of the property.

Access had been opened to the car park by 11am, and a man could be seen mopping the floor with industrial strength cleaner.

He also focused on a railing that had also been cordoned off, however both cordons have now been lifted.

Police vehicles are still at the scene along with several officers.
