A woman reported missing from Romney Marsh yesterday has been found safe.

Officers grew concerned for the welfare of 50-year-old Paula Rand, who was last seen in the St Mary’s Bay area at 12.30pm yesterday.

Locals on The Real Marsh Watch Facbook page today commented on a circling helicopter seen and heard from the areas of St Mary’s Bay, Dymchurch and Lydd-on-Sea overnight and into this morning.

Police officers were also seen at St Mary’s Bay Village Hall in Jefferstone Lane.

Ms Rand was found just after 5pm.
