Passengers on board a power boat were left stranded five miles off the Kent coast after their vessel broke down.
A rescue crew from the RNLI were called to assist the cabin cruiser just before 3.30pm yesterday after its propellers failed five miles north east of Dungeness.
The boat, which had four people on board, was travelling to Brighton from Brightlingsea.
When the volunteer crew arrived, it towed the vessel to Dover for repairs.
Stuart Adams from the RNLI said: "We were efficient as always in assisting the casualty.
"The casualty was well prepared but unfortunate on this occasion and we wish them well on their passage."
