A road has been closed after a lorry overturned.

The B2080 has been shut in both directions following the accident near Tenterden.

Emergency services have been called to the scene near Reading Street, between the town and Appledore.

The road is closed while the vehicle is recovered following the accident at around 11.40am.

It is understood that the lorry was the only vehicle involved.

A police spokesman confirmed that no serious injuries have been reported.
