Students at the Marsh Academy have been celebrating some of their school's best ever A level results.
Now the New Romney school has to find out if it will be the same for GCSE results this coming Thursday.
Last Thursday saw scores of excited and anxious teenagers return to the Academy to pick up their A-level results.
For most the experience was a good one as they secured the grades they needed to clinch university or college places.
The Academy says that overall post-16 results were by far the best since it opened in 2007, with a 99% pass rate in year 13 and the average grade being the equivalent of a B.
The school’s BTEC results were also hailed as particularly strong with 52% of grades being distinction or distinction* and 99% at least a merit.
For the full story on the A-levels see this Thursday's Romney Marsh edition of the Kentish Express.
Full reports on the GCSE's will be covered in the following edition.
