Romney Marsh: Police officer injured after collision on training course

A police officer had to be taken to hospital after being injured whilst on a training course in St Mary's Bay.
The incident happened at around 5.15pm yesterday on the A259, at the junction of Dymchurch Road and Sea Way Road.
The officer was on a police motorcycle when it was involved in a collision with a car being driven by a member of the public.
Officers at the scene enforced a full road closure, on both lanes, which lasted around four hours.
The officer riding the motorcycle was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police have since confirmed that the police rider was taking part in a training course.
