Police search Lydd-on-Sea near Dungeness for missing Wayne Leppard

Police searching for a missing man have been combing stretches of coastline.

Wayne Leppard was last seen in Lydd-on-Sea on Friday morning.

The 68-year-old went missing from the Pleasance Road area of the village at 10am.

Yesterday officers were seen scouring the shingle landscape for any signs of Mr Leppard.

He is white, of slim build and is six feet tall. He has grey, flat curly hair.

Wayne is believed to be wearing blue jeans, a blue top and is wearing glasses. He is also unshaven.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his whereabouts.
