A2070 at Brenzett closed in both directions following two-car crash

Two women have been taken to hospital after two cars collided, leaving a main road closed.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the A2070 near Brenzett, on Romney Marsh , following the crash at 2.15pm.
The air ambulance was also called and a woman was airlifted to a London hospital.
A second woman has been taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford by road.
The road - which links Ashford to the Marsh - was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance said: "We were called at approximately 2.20pm to reports of an RTC close to Brenzett filling station.
"Ambulance crews attended and were joined at the scene by the air ambulance service.
"Two female patients have been assessed and treated at the scene. One is been airlifted to hospital in London and one is being taken by road to William Harvey Hospital."
The road remained closed for about seven hours before eventually being reopened by 7.50pm.
