Ambulance crews called to car crash in Beggarsbush Lane, Old Romney, which left man in 20s hurt

A driver has been seriously injured in a car crash.

The man was taken from the scene at Old Romney by ambulance to a specialist London hospital.

The accident happened at Beggarsbush Lane and emergency services were called out at about 9.15pm yesterday.

March saw more than 10,000 people turning up at the department


The victim, aged in his 20s, suffered injuries to his torso and upper leg.

A doctor and paramedics from Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance arrived by car and treated the victim at the scene.

South East Coast Ambulance Service also sent two of their vehicles and drove the patient to King’s College Hospital.

Police also attended.
