Ellie Goulding has been spotted filming for a new music video on Romney Marsh.
The singer-songwriter posed for a picture with passers-by on her way to film near landmark the Listening Ears yesterday.
Resident Simone Leader was walking in the area when the celebrity appeared on a golf cart.
She said: "I had heard that Ellie might be in the area but it was just a chance meeting really.
"We were walking around and saw all of the vans and caravans that you see with film crews, and then suddenly there she was.
"I asked her if I could take a photo of her with my friends, and she was so lovely about it.
"She obviously needed to be on her way but she insisted on making time for us.
"She was so lovely when she was obviously running late as it is a hard out of the way place to get to- especially on a 4 seater golf cart.
"She was charming and down to earth, and it really made the day for all of us.
"Diana - the lady I am a PA for - absolutely loves her music, so this was extra special for her."
The filming is believed to have taken place near the Listening Ears, concrete structures set up in the Marsh in the First World War, designed as an early warning system for Britain to detect enemy aircraft.
She is the latest celebrity singer to visit Romney Marsh, after Ed Sheeran was seen in a fish-and-chip shop last month.
The Brit-award winning artist attended the University of Kent in Canterbury for two years, before leaving after meeting her future manager.
She returned to the university in July to receive an honorary degree.
She is also preparing for her upcoming fourth studio album release, and recently brought out single 'Hate Me' with rapper Juice Wrld.
It is believed that filming on the Marsh has now finished.
The county appears to becoming an increasingly popular destination for film makers with 27 big budget movies being shot locally.
