Four fire engines were sent to tackle a house fire in Lydd last night.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in Ness Road at about 6.45pm.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Four fire engines and a height vehicle are in attendance as crews, wearing breathing apparatus, are using main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.”
Crews left the scene at 9.25pm.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are not yet known.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
