Man taken to hospital after car ‘crashes into house’ in Dymchurch

A man has been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a house yesterday afternoon.

Police, firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene near The Neptune Pub and New Beach Holiday Park in the A259 Hythe Road in Dymchurch at about 5.24pm on Sunday April 23.

It is reported that around the same time a second collision invovling two vehicles occured further up the road, but no injuries were reported.

The A259 Hythe Road was closed in both directions but re-opened by around 8pm, bus services were also affected.

One witness reported seeing a car in a garden, as well as fire engines, police cars, and an ambulance.

Another described the incident as a “major accident”.
