Fishing equipment marked with the letters LLS has been stolen from a van parked on a driveway.

The police are investigating the reported theft which happened in Ellesmere Mews, New Romney, between 7pm and 10.30pm on Thursday, March 16.

Fishing rods, reels and a wallet containing bank cards were allegedly swiped in the incident.
