More than 650 properties in a rural part of Kent have been without power this morning.
UK Power Networks had to turn off power in parts of New Romney, Greatstone and Littlestone so engineers can safely carry out emergency repairs on the network.
More than 20 calls about the electricity outage were made and 654 homes are known to have been cut off.
According to the company's website, power was restored just after 10.30am.
UK Power Networks spokeswoman Niamh Arnett said: "Engineers are working to restore electricity supplies to 654 customers in the Coast Drive area of Greatstone, New Romney.
"For safety reasons staff needed to turn off supplies at 8.54am while they attend to a fault on an overhead power line.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and staff are on site working to restore supplies as quickly as possible."
