There were heavy delays on Romney Marsh this morning following a two vehicle crash.
Police and fire crews were called to the scene and closed parts of Dymchurch Road, where it meets Hythe Road, near the turning with Queensway.
Traffic was at standstill on Burmarsh Road, close to Donkey Street, due to a diversion being put in place.
Sarah Manning, who was stuck, said: "There's an accident down in Burmarsh. Police and fire engine are on the scene.
"All traffic has been diverted. The main road is closed.
"The diversion is chaos, only cars are moving.
"Buses and lorries are stuck unable to manoeuvre the narrow bends.
"One police car came and drove off. They need traffic management."
Another woman said: "Nasty crash past Dymchurch on corner. They're diverting traffic down Burmarsh, long queues as buses trying to get down lanes both ways."
A spokesman for the force said: "Kent Police was called at 9.12am to a two car collision in Hythe Road, Dymchurch.
"Officers attended alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service and no serious injuries have been reported.
"The incident did cause the road to become obstructed and a closure was enforced to ensure public safety.
"The road had reopened by 11.44am."
A spokeswoman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "KFRS was called to Queensway in Dymchurch near Romney March at 9.17am to reports of a two-vehicle crash.
