A "vulnerable" man who went missing from his home yesterday has been found safe and well.

Ian Rutherford was reported missing from Chapel Road, Dymchurch, at 7.50am on Saturday.

Police launched an appeal in the afternoon saying they were growing "increasingly concerned for his welfare".

Officers said this morning that the 51-year-old had been found.
