Meet Father Christmas and browse stalls at Martha Trust Christmas Fayre in Sandwich Guildhall

The chance to meet Father Christmas - without booking - and browse stalls will be at Martha Trust Christmas Fayre tomorrow.

The free annual event will return to Sandwich Guildhall from 10am until 4pm. Admission is free.

It will feature 28 stalls selling a range of stocking fillers, from candles and soaps to jewellery and jams.

There will be a bottle tombola and the chance to buy toys from Bigjig Toys Ltd at half price.

Crowds will be welcomed with live music outside from The Landmark Show Choir from 2pm until 3pm.

Outside on the forecourt, there will also be the Drink Outside the Box shack selling festive drinks with 20% of their sales being donated back to the charity.

Father Christmas will be in residence from 10am until 3pm, with visits available for a fee of £2.50.

In keeping with tradition, the Mayor and Mayoress of Sandwich will be in attendance to judge the entries to the colouring competition from local schools.

Fundraising and events officer Kerry Banks BEM said: "We are really looking forward to seeing lots of you at the event."

Martha Trust, the Mercury's Charity of the Year for 2021, supports adults with profound disabilities, based in Hacklinge.
