A family from Sandwich is appealing for any information on their missing dog Ziva.
The red collie cross went missing a week ago when Jon Leeper and his daughter Bethan, 13, were walking her in St Margaret's-at-Cliffe.
Ziva has a heart murmur and the fear is that she may have had a heart attack.
The family who lives in St Bart's Road have contacted the Coastguard, Port of Dover Police, dog wardens, rescue centres and posted fliers and appeals on social media - but there have been no sightings as of yet.
Helena Leeper, 44, an artist, said: "We are all absolutely devastated. It's almost like grieving.
"We don't know if she went over a cliff or did she have a heart attack or has she been taken."
She ran off from a walkway near Pines Gardens in St Margaret's and has not been seen since.
Ziva is 18 months old, a rescue dog from Sandwich charity Futures for Dogs.
Mrs Leeper said: "She has a heart murmur and she's been spade so she's of no use to someone. If someone has taken her I hope they return her."
The family has tried everything from searching the cliffs and gardens for hours, putting up posters and leaving blankets that smell of the family. They are also hoping to use a tracker dog to try and find her.
Mrs Leeper has two children Bethan, 13, and Charlotte, 9, and one other dog Betsy a saluki springer cross.
