Fears are growing for the welfare of a man missing for more than two days.

Paul Goodwin, 61, from Sandwich, was last seen at the town's marina on Friday afternoon.

A police spokesman confirmed today a helicopter took part in the search for him yesterday (Sunday).

"We are continuing to search the area and appeal to anyone with information to contact us," they added.

He is described as white, 5ft 10ins, with grey hair and glasses.

He is thought to be wearing a blue jacket under a black leather jacket, black waterproof trousers and black boots.
